With kids going back to school and Summer winding down, its not too soon to think about turning indoors and refreshing your home for Fall and the holidays.

You can have this look. Choose from teak, rosewood, cherry, mahogany, oak for your main pieces…add colorful rugs, art, a unique light fixture, and some organic elements like potted house plants or flowers, and some wonderful accessories. You are good to go.

We have an extraordinary collection of vintage Danish ceramic vases and lamps right now as well as retro lighting like the pendant above.

Repeating patterns were often used in 1960’s interiors as a focal accent to draw the eye. Wallpaper has made its comeback today and can be as easy as peel and stick. Organic shapes soften the more angular forms and add whimsy to the space.

With roots in the Bauhaus design movement in Germany, traditional Mid-Century Modern style focused on simple lines, uncluttered layouts, and retro-futuristic details.

Architecture and furniture designs were reknowend for their functionality, with an emphasis on long-wearing, natural materials, and unfussy decor for a streamlined look.

Add a pop of color like the teal walls in the dining room below to energize your space.

Vibrant greens, terra cotta pots, macramé, hanging plant holders, and colorful textiles create a welcoming space that combines rigid modernist structures with organic and growing elements.
