In September 2018, the beloved Beaverton Bakery closed its doors after 93 years. We’ve had the good fortune of taking in a few of their vintage production tables—tables that have been used to make cakes and pastries for nearly a century. We have cut them down to table height and are giving them new life as dining tables that will serve as a historic place for friends and family to gather around for years to come.
Founded by Charles Yeager in 1925, the Beaverton Bakery was later purchased by Charles Schubert in 1965. He grew it from 10 employees to 50 while expanding it into three adjoining buildings along Southwest Broadway Street buildings, including a Victorian home.
